For Candidates
Our goal is to provide you with the best move for you in your career. By truly listening to what you really want from your career and where you see yourself in the future, we can then provide you with the most suitable options as possible.
Leveraging our own actual Financial Services experience in the areas we recruit for we can drill down into what you are really looking for and equally important what you want to avoid. It is through transparency from both parties we can then set a plan in place and see what options are available to you.
We will provide insightful guidance and advice on how to either progress in your current field or make that career move you have been longing to do. Your career deserves to be protected and respected just like our clients and we are passionate about doing so.
Step 1: Phone Conversation: A brief call to understand what you truly like and not like about your current role and what you are really looking for in your next move.
Step 2: Face to Face meeting: This next step so we can listen to you regarding your career aspirations and goals and for us to give you an insight into the market and discuss particular options that may be of interest to you. Also, to meet your recruiter in person and get the chance to know the person you are working with.
Step 3: Interview Preparation: Once we have agreed to enter the interview process for a specific role and fingers crossed you are called to interview: we then need to prepare as best we can. Interviews can be daunting to some and others thrive at them. For every hopeful candidate the key to success is preparation. We revise all relevant information you have been provided by us and practice all potential interview questions. This will give you the confidence needed so you are ready and eager to meet your next employer.
Step 4: Follow on Stage: Once the first interview round is successfully completed you are often called back for a second round. This doesn’t happen for every interview process but it happens more often than not. The second round is usually a chance to meet more senior level management, a psychometric test or in some cases a presentation. Again, we will ensure that you will be provided with plenty of forewarning and ensure you are best prepared as possible for this step.
Step 5: Offer: For the successful candidate that is to be offered the role we will negotiate this on your behalf, and you will be kept informed of how these negotiations are progressing.
Step 6: Contract Review and reference check: If you are happy to proceed with the offer the next step is for you to review your new contract. We will closely liaise with you to ensure any queries or questions you may have are answered to your satisfaction. Often but not all the time we may need to conduct a reference check as per our client’s request. We will conduct this via phone with your agreed and approved references.
Step 7: Onboarding: Your start date will have been agreed and confirmed at your contract signing stage. Prior to your start date there is the onboarding stage with your new employer and at any time you need assistance with obtaining documentation or guidance we are there for you. From then on if you ever need help or guidance we are always there.
Congratulations and Best of luck with your career.
