Head of Accounting (Valuations) – PCF 34:

PCF 8 & Head of Accounting (Valuations) – PCF 34:

  • Be the key appointment for building the management team and hiring of key staff.
  • Develop new business leads.
  • Develop relationships with depositaries, law firms, audit firms and other consultancy firms.
  • Assist the sales team with new client proposals, pricing and head count requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance client service level agreements (SLA’s). Ensuring the client expectations and service level provided is of the highest standard.
  • Assist clients with new fund launches as well as new product offerings.
  • Responsible for Fund Accounting department and all funds being administered by the department. As the business grows your role will become less operational.
  • Be the main point of contact with the Central Bank of Ireland ensuring all regulatory returns are made in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring robust Fund Accounting and Valuation processes and procedures are implemented.
  • Ensure thorough and robust AML/CTF frameworks are in place. Ensuring a strong AML culture is prevalent in the business.

Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications required for CEO – PCF 8 & Head of Accounting (Valuations) – PCF 34

  • PCF 34 CBI approval or have the necessary experience and qualifications to obtain this approval.
  • Qualified Accountant is desirable and Private Equity Fund Accounting experience.
  • Strong level of experience with Investran.
  • End to end PE experience a must with ACCA and/or Financial reporting experience highly desirable.
  • Experience in hiring and managing teams.
  • Strong technical fund industry experience and also a proven track record of strong client relationship ability. 
  • Experience setting policies and procedures in order to mitigate risks and errors.

  • Delivery of cash management and transaction of administration services of for a number of client companies with a diverse range of assets including loan portfolios, RMBS, CMBS, CDO and ABS from large international institutions.
